Charanga Cakewalk
Making their Chicago debut, Charanga Cakewalk from Austin, Texas serves up a tasty mix of electric cumbia, reggae and various Latin rhythms for a unique danceable sound. Michael Ramos, the guiding force behind the band has a long history as a much sought after sideman with the likes of The Bo Deans, Los Lonely Boys and Robert Plant,is celebrating the release of this third Charanga album El Brown Recluse. The live show will feature Brian Ramos, the original lead singer of Grupo Fantasma.
