An evening of Garifuna Drummers, Belizean Dancing, Dining and Discussion with the Authors of Leaders From the Kitchen Cookbook.
For the official release of the cookbook Leaders From the Kitchen (LFTK), the Jane Addams Hull-House museum is transforming the museum’s porch, courtyard and kitchen into a Belizean-inspired space for dancing, dining and dialogue.
Food will be served from Chicago’s very own Garifuna Flava (featured on Food Network’s Diners, Drive Ins & Dives), cookbooks $20/each, 100% of sale proceeds benefiting Fabretto Nicaragua, NicaHOPE and WIN Belize, organizations advancing women’s micro entrepreneur development in Nicaragua and Belize.
