The Gene Siskel Film Center collaborates with the Chicago Palestine Film Festival to present the sixteenth annual festival representing the spirit and mood of contemporary Palestinian life. This festival is dedicated to exhibiting film and video work that is open, critical, and reflective of the culture, experience, and vision of the artists.

April 15th @ 8:00 pm: ‘Personal Affairs’ preceded by ‘Today They Took my Son’ – audience discussion with producer Farah Nabulsi of ‘Today They Took my Son (via Skype)

April 16th @ 5:15 pm: ‘Namour’ preceded by ‘Oceans of Injustice’ – audience discussion with Heidi Saman via Skype

April 19th @ 8:30 pm: ‘The Idol’ preceded by ‘Graffiti’ – audience discussion with direcor of ‘Graffiti’, Fidaa Nasir

April 21st @ 8:00 pm :’In Between’ preceded by ‘Shishbarak’ – audience discussion (via Skype) with producer Bayan Dahah of ‘Shishbarak’

April 22nd @ 8:15 pm: ‘Love, Theft, and Other Entanglements preceded by ‘Pink Bullet’ – audience discussion with co-producer Rami Alayan (scheduled to appear in person)

April 23rd @ 5:15 pm: ‘The Occupation of the American Mind’ – audience discussion with Executive producer Sut Jhally (in person)

April 26th @ 8:00 pm: ‘Love, Theft, and Other Entanglements preceded by ‘Pink Bullet’ – audience discussion via Skype with co-producer Rami Alayan

April 28th @ 8:00 pm: ‘Personal Affairs’ preceded by ‘Today They Took my Son’

April 29th @ 8:00 pm: ‘Namour’ preceded by ‘Oceans of Injustice’ – in person audience discussion with Namour’s director, Heidi Saman

May 3rd @ 8:00 pm: ‘The Seventh Summit’ preceded by ‘Neverthless, Al Quds’ – audience discussion with film subjects (via Skype)

May 4th @ 8:15 pm: ‘The Occupation of the American Mind’ – audience discussion with Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters via Skype
